I want to be honest and transparent about this car. My partner and I have done regular maintenance, it has been a reliable daily driver for us. Recently within the last week I noticed something wrong with the shifting of the car. Panicked I took it in to Matrix Auto to have it diagnosed and I was hoping it was not a transmission failure.
I was told today (1/4/23) that the transmission is fine, car starts and drives; the car runs at higher RPM 3k@ 25mph.
There is an issue with one of the sensor units that would require a $1400.00 fix.
The sensor itself can be purchased $70-100.00 if you can do the labor
Or there are numerous mobile mechanics that mention completing the repair for $300-$350.
I would like to sell the car at a highly discounted price. $800-$1000.00
I can meet at Matrix automotive for the transaction. Or you can have AAA tow the car, or drive it on side streets to a shop of your choice.
I was told the car would need nothing for a long while after this repair was done. We recently had it serviced for oil/tune up at Art of Maintenance two months ago.
We have all paperwork for repairs, and work done to the car, as well as a clean title & tags (exp 24)***
